New Collection

My new collection is called Oz Garden, and my garden is obviously my inspiration.
This time it started with the Rainbow Lorikeets, and their striking colours defined the whole collection.

Market Goods 4 - Pencil cases

Back to the market goods story, today's post is about the beautiful pencil cases that Tasha made with my fabrics.
I also managed to get a photo of me at the market. Winnie had taken it on her iPhone, almost at the close of the day, but forgot to send it to me until now.

Late Easter interruption

I wanted to have done this post before Easter but life often gets in the way and I didn't have the time.
It's about a pattern I designed with Painted Eggs as a subject for one of the many contests run by Spoonflower.
I have yet to win one of these contests, but in the meantime they teach me how to design to a prescribed subject and to a deadline, which is not always easy.
I chose to design a geometric pattern symbolizing a birds eye view of an egg carton containing both painted and unpainted eggs.
This is my entry. I called it Egg Carton polka dots.
