We live in an old house, over 100 years old which is very old for Australia when you consider that white settlement happened only 226 years ago.
It's a Victorian house and each room has a fireplace, or to be more accurate each room has a large hole in the wall where the fireplace used to be.
A while ago I started fixing the problems caused by the holes, namely and most important the amount of rubbish that descended down the chimneys everyday.
This is the one in my bedroom, blocked and tiled over and just completed.

New Tea Cosies
Recently I've sold nearly all of my tea cosies, which greatly surprised me!
I'm not the best saleswoman in the world!
The first ones I made were simply cut from some of my fabrics and the pattern just had to fit.
Now that my computer skills are so much better, I've learned how to fit the pattern the way I want.
My new tea cosies are as a result much better designed.
All tea cosies for sale on my Etsy shop.

New Husta dress
It's already mid January 2015 and I've been too busy doing renovations in our house and very little time for designing or blogging.
So it's nice to start this year with another little girl's dress made by Huguette using one of my Spoonflower fabrics.

Merry Christmas 2014
It's that time of the year again, and this year I traveled a bit, had visitors staying over, and ended up not having a lot of time to draw and paint.
Luckily I have a folder of half baked ideas on my computer, and I went looking for something I could use as my Christmas card.
Voila!!!
So, to all my friends in our galaxy Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

Husta dress
One of my Spoonflower clients, Huguette Stachewitsch who goes by the web name Husta, made this beautiful little girl's dress with my fabric Hakea.
I love to see what other people make with my fabrics. Thank you Huguette!
