Shower curtains

This post is about shower curtains, another new product on Society6.
It's quite amazing how digital printing has changed the way goods are produced this days.
For an artist like me it's only a matter of uploading a file onto the printers website.

Sardine competition

My sister Cristina has sent me the link to a competition  named Which sardine are you?

It is a fun art competition open to everyone in the World, and it is part of the "Festas de Lisboa" a cultural celebration of the city of Lisbon which happens in June every year.
Portuguese people and sardines have a special connection to each other, so what is more obvious than decorating a sardine to celebrate the city of Lisbon.

First new fabric of the year

I entered this new design on a Spoonflower competition at the start of January. You don't really win any prizes but you get featured on their top ten list, and your fabric gets printed and sold as part of a fat quarter bundle.
I didn't end up in the top ten, but I rated 15 out of 248 submissions. Isn't that cool!

Happy 2014

Yesterday, the 1st of January I had a really lovely surprise. Amy, who bought some of my fabric a couple of months ago, sent me some pictures of the curtains she made for her bathroom, or powder room as they say in the States. I just love to see what other people make with my fabrics.
A great start to 2014.
